Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Conducts Search and Seizure at SH Headquarters Over Employee Bribery Allegations (Update)

[Asia Economy Reporter Donghoon Jeong] The police have launched a forced investigation into the Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH) headquarters regarding allegations of bribery involving an employee.

The Anti-Corruption and Public Crime Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced that from around 9:30 a.m. on the 23rd, they are conducting a search and seizure at three locations, including the SH headquarters and regional centers.

It is reported that the police obtained intelligence that current SH Corporation employees leaked internal information to local real estate agents and gained benefits in return.
