To celebrate the extended trading hours, Samsung Securities is holding the "Stock Orders on the Commute! Delivery Orders!" event until the 30th. During the event period, customers who apply for the event on the Samsung Securities website or the mobile app 'mPOP' and trade U.S. stocks online for at least 1 million KRW in a single transaction during the pre-market hours (17:00 - 22:30) or after-market hours (05:00 - 07:00) supported by Samsung Securities will be entered into a daily draw. Each day, 200 winners will receive a Coupang Eats coupon worth approximately 20,000 KRW.
The event does not allow duplicate winnings; once a participant wins for the first time, they will be automatically excluded from subsequent draws. With this extension of after-market trading hours, Samsung Securities customers can now trade U.S. stocks for more than half a day (14 hours).
A Samsung Securities representative stated, "We understand that domestic investors trading overseas stocks, especially U.S. stocks, during regular market hours have inevitably faced some inconvenience, such as trading late at night. To alleviate customer inconvenience, we have actively improved our system by significantly extending U.S. stock pre-market and after-market trading hours."
