[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Korea Forest Welfare Institute recently held the '2021 Consumer-Centered Management (CCM) Introduction Ceremony' with its executives and employees, the institute announced on the 23rd.


CCM is certified by the Fair Trade Commission and supervised by the Korea Consumer Agency. The purpose of the CCM certification system is to evaluate whether corporate activities are organized around consumers and whether management activities are continuously improved.


The introduction of CCM at the Forest Welfare Institute was made with the determination to proactively promote the management philosophy (ESG) of sustainable development by establishing a 'sustainable management system' and considering transparent management such as eco-friendly and socially responsible management and governance improvement in corporate activities.


Following the ceremony, the Forest Welfare Institute plans to complete the consumer-centered management certification evaluation in the second half of this year by reorganizing related systems to provide customer-centered services and enhance customer satisfaction.


Lee Chang-jae, Director of the Forest Welfare Institute, said, “As the Forest Welfare Institute celebrates its 5th anniversary this year, it plans to aggressively pursue customer-oriented service provision with the goal of practicing sustainable management,” adding, “The ceremony was held as an occasion to reaffirm and pledge to implement the management direction set by the Forest Welfare Institute.”
