[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Seon-gap) conducted job training for the Media Youth Supporters, who are participating in the Seoul New Deal Job Project.

The Media Youth Supporters project is part of the New Deal Job initiative aimed at addressing the shortage of professional personnel by producing various promotional content through young talents, thereby realizing resident-centered district administration promotion.

This training was organized to enhance the job skills of New Deal Job participants and to nurture them into professionals through special lectures by external instructors.

The training took place twice, on the 20th and 22nd. On the 20th, Oh Yusu, head of The Mong Actors Acting Academy, participated as an instructor at the Gwangjin-gu Office Comprehensive Situation Room, providing a session on stage acting.

On the 22nd, actor Min Sang-woo, who has appeared in numerous works including "Amazing Rumor" and "Gaksital," gave a lecture on media (camera) acting at the Gwangjin-gu Office Broadcasting Studio.

Song Yena (27, Media Youth Promotion Supporter), who participated in the training, said, "I am considering a career in directing, so it was a great experience to listen to lectures from related experts. Especially, meeting an actor, hearing stories from the field, and having the opportunity to act myself will be very helpful when I actually direct."

Based on a survey of participants, additional training sessions are planned for the second half of the year according to their feedback.

Kim Seon-gap, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, stated, "I hope this training provides young people with opportunities to gain practical experience and strengthen their employment capabilities. In the serious situation of youth unemployment, we will carefully examine the support we can provide at the district level, including for the Media Youth Supporters, and continue efforts to create quality youth jobs."
