[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] On Friday the 23rd, the whole country will be mostly cloudy and hot, with rain expected in some areas.
The rain will ease the early heat wave.
The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) stated, "From dawn to morning, there will be light rain in the Seoul metropolitan area, Chungcheong region, Jeolla region, and Jeju Island."
Additionally, occasional raindrops will fall in Gangwon Yeongseo, western Gyeongsang region, Seoul metropolitan area, Chungcheong region, and Jeolla region.
The morning temperatures will range from 11 to 16 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperatures will be between 15 and 24 degrees Celsius.
Also, from dawn to morning, light rain will occur in the Seoul metropolitan area, Chungcheong region, Jeolla region, and Jeju Island. Occasional raindrops will fall in Gangwon Yeongseo, western Gyeongsang region, Seoul metropolitan area, Chungcheong region, and Jeolla region.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted as follows: △Seoul 16°C △Chuncheon 13°C △Gangneung 13°C △Daejeon 15°C △Cheongju 15°C △Daegu 14°C △Gwangju 15°C △Jeonju 16°C △Busan 15°C △Jeju 12°C.
The daytime high temperatures are forecasted as follows: △Seoul 23°C △Chuncheon 21°C △Gangneung 16°C △Daejeon 22°C △Cheongju 22°C △Daegu 20°C △Gwangju 23°C △Jeonju 24°C △Busan 19°C △Jeju 22°C.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'moderate' across all regions.
The KMA advised, "With dry weather warnings in effect for Seoul, southern Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, Chungcheong region, Jeonnam region, Gyeongsang region, and mountainous areas of Jeju Island, the atmosphere will be very dry. Other areas will also be dry, so please be especially cautious to prevent forest fires and other types of fires."
