[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the morning of the 22nd, Chaehyunil, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District Office, participated in the 51st Earth Day commemorative event ‘Carbon Footprint Reduction Environmental Practice’ held at Mullae Neighborhood Park, where he experienced making cup sleeves using recycled materials.

Mayor Chae personally took part in programs such as creating pledges for environmental protection, making flowerpots from recycled coffee sacks, and making cup sleeves, and toured a photo exhibition depicting environmental practices and the climate change crisis.

Mayor Chaehyunil stated, "We will create a sustainable, eco-friendly city and an open Yeongdeungpo to pass on a clean environment to our children, the future generation."
