[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] On the 23rd at 4 p.m., Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon will hold a farewell ceremony for Seo Jeong-hyeop, First Deputy Mayor for Administration, and Kim Hak-jin, Second Deputy Mayor for Administration, at the multipurpose hall (8th floor) of Seoul City Hall.

Mayor Oh plans to present plaques of appreciation and deliver words of encouragement to the two deputy mayors who have done their best for the citizens of Seoul before their departure. Considering the COVID-19 situation, only about 30 people, including Seoul city executives and labor union representatives, will attend the farewell ceremony on-site.

Additionally, at 2 p.m. on the same day, Mayor Oh will meet with Robert Rapson, Acting U.S. Ambassador to Korea, in the mayor’s office to discuss friendly exchange and cooperation plans between Seoul and U.S. cities. The position of U.S. Ambassador to Korea is currently vacant.
