'Hugel-Air Premia LA Open' sponsored by Air Premia

[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] New airline Air Premia announced that it will hold the "Hugel-Air Premia LA Open" from the 22nd (Korean time) to the 25th at the Wilshire Country Club in Los Angeles, California, USA.

The Hugel-Air Premia LA Open, sponsored by Air Premia, will feature Lydia Ko, the winner of the previous tournament "Lotte Championship," defending champion Minjee Lee, and world No. 1 Jin Young Ko.

Representatives from South Korea such as Inbee Park, Sei Young Kim, and Sung Hyun Park, as well as top global players like Nelly Korda and Lexi Thompson, will also participate, promising exciting competition among the world's top-ranked players.

Air Premia is a new airline that has introduced Boeing's Dreamliner (787-9), a medium-to-large aircraft, aiming to operate long-haul routes to regions such as the Americas and Europe. As a hybrid airline concept, it plans to offer premium economy seats at a lower price than full-service carriers (FSC) and spacious economy seats.

Air Premia is currently undergoing an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) inspection from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport for this aircraft model. Once the AOC process is completed, it plans to officially launch flights to Southeast Asian regions such as Vietnam and Thailand.
