Online Application from May 10 to 28
On-site Application at Eup, Myeon, Dong from May 17 to June 4
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 22nd that it will promote a temporary livelihood support project for low-income crisis households that do not receive benefits from existing welfare systems or COVID-19 damage support programs.
The support targets low-income households that have experienced crises such as income reduction but have not received other COVID-19 damage support. Existing livelihood benefit and emergency welfare recipients, as well as those who received duplicate COVID-19 disaster relief funds this year, are excluded.
Additionally, the total household income must be 75% or less of the median income standard (3,657,218 KRW), and the property standard must be 350 million KRW or less. Applications can be made online or in person at the Eup, Myeon, and Dong offices. The application period is from May 10 to May 28, and only the head of the household can apply.
In-person applications will be accepted from May 17 to June 4 at the resident registration offices of Eup, Myeon, and Dong administrative welfare centers. The head of the household, household members within the same household, or a proxy can apply.
Changwon City will conduct income and property investigations through the public system, verify whether there is any overlap with disaster relief funds, and then deposit 500,000 KRW once per household into the application account in June.
