Reflecting Subscription Economy Activation... Lowering Prices and Enhancing Freshness through Direct Contracts with Flower Farms
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Home&Shopping (CEO Kim Ok-chan) announced on the 22nd that it will launch a flower subscription delivery service product to revitalize the flower industry, which has been stagnant due to COVID-19.
Home&Shopping explained that the flower subscription delivery service product was planned as part of a project to save flower farms amid the decreased demand for flowers caused by COVID-19. By contracting directly with flower farms, they lowered the unit price and increased freshness.
The first broadcast of the 'Morian & J-Made Fresh Flower Subscription Voucher' will take place from 11:50 PM on the 23rd. During this broadcast, customers can purchase a voucher that allows them to receive seasonal flowers designed by J-Made's professional florists through a total of three subscription deliveries.
A Home&Shopping official said, "This product was planned to support the flower industry, which is struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic," and added, "With the non-face-to-face culture caused by COVID-19 and the upcoming Family Month in May, we expect a lot of interest from customers."
