KT Executive Vice President of Management Support Division Shin Hyun-ok, Chairman Song Kyung-yong of the Korea Social Value Solidarity Fund, CEO Do Hyun-myung of Impact Square, and representatives of six social economy enterprises including Ecopiece, OpaTech, AI Goodwill Voice, Poinhand, SayGlobal, and Together Walking Media Lab are taking a commemorative photo together.
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] KT announced on the 22nd that it held the mid-term results presentation of the ‘Warm Technology Plus Challenge’ on the 21st at the KT Gwanghwamun East Building.
The ‘Warm Technology Plus Challenge’ is a contest conducted by KT in collaboration with the Korea Social Value Solidarity Fund to foster social economy enterprises. KT has continued ESG activities by providing not only business support funds but also KT’s technology and know-how to realize the ideas of social economy enterprises. Attending the mid-term results presentation were Shin Hyun-ok, Vice President and Head of KT’s Management Support Division, Song Kyung-yong, Chairman of the Korea Social Value Solidarity Fund, and Dohyun Myung, CEO of Impact Square, who gathered to share a commitment to creating social value.
Since October last year, KT has selected six social economy enterprises through the contest: Ecopiece, OpaTech, AI Goodwill Voice, PointHand, SayGlobal, and Hamkke Geodneun Media Lab. The six companies attending the mid-term results presentation shared their business progress and discussed ways to expand business opportunities with KT’s business departments.
As a digital platform company, KT will continuously support the selected companies with technology mentoring and management consulting so they can grow into technology-innovation-oriented structures suitable for the digital era, and plans to select two final outstanding performance teams in September.
