DADA M&C Launches Eco-Friendly Camping Lifestyle Brand 'DearDear'



Eco-friendly Brand Launches Camping Gear and Outdoor Products for Earth Day
"Committed to Environmental Protection by Donating Part of Annual Profits to Nature"

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] DADA M&C announced on the 22nd the launch of its eco-friendly camping lifestyle brand 'DEAR DEER' in celebration of Earth Day. DADA M&C is a media commerce subsidiary established by CJ O Shopping.


'DEAR DEER' promotes camping gear, outdoor products, and accessories under the slogan 'Make for Nature.' The brand plans to foster a culture of enjoying and loving nature through various environmental campaigns in the future. As part of this effort, 'DEAR DEER' will donate a portion of its annual profits to nature and lead environmental protection initiatives, while primarily using eco-friendly materials for its products.


The brand launch is driven by the rising consumption culture among millennials known as 'Meaning-out,' where young consumers increasingly consider eco-friendly factors when purchasing products. Since DADA M&C’s main customers are the MZ generation, who consume a lot of mobile content, the company explained that they planned an eco-friendly brand catering to consumers who pursue 'Meaning-out' consumption.


The first product launched on Earth Day is the 'DEAR DEER Folding Box.' Popular among campers, it serves both as storage and an outdoor table. The tabletop is made of 100% solid wood, enhancing the natural elegance of the wood. The folding box itself is designed to be collapsible for easy portability. Available in cream, khaki, and black, it can be purchased on the official 'DEAR DEER' and 'DADAPICK' websites. Starting in May, lightweight chairs, wood rolling tables, camping wagons, and more will be released sequentially.


Seungui Hong, head of the brand planning team at DADA M&C, said, "Our goal is to become a brand with a positive influence so that people can fully enjoy and love nature."


Meanwhile, DADA M&C, a media commerce company established in December last year, is strengthening its competitiveness in mobile private brands (PB) by offering cost-effective products. Its representative PBs include 'Triple Black,' a design home appliance brand featuring vacuum cleaners and humidifiers; 'Your Peace,' a slim-type massager brand; 'Philizer,' a near-infrared galvanic device for hair loss improvement; and 'Nareun,' which offers homewear products.
