Korea Electric Power Corporation Operates Over 700 Models for 'High-Efficiency Appliance Purchase Cost Support Program'
Up to 200,000 KRW Additional Discount on 20 Popular High-Efficiency Appliance Models Until May 31

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heungsoon] LG Electronics announced on the 22nd that it will offer discounts to all customers purchasing high-efficiency home appliances through Korea Electric Power Corporation's 'High-Efficiency Appliance Purchase Cost Support Program.'

Starting from the 23rd, Korea Electric Power Corporation will provide 10% of the purchase cost, up to 300,000 KRW per household, to socially disadvantaged groups such as households eligible for discounted electricity rates when purchasing high-efficiency appliances including refrigerators, kimchi refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, air purifiers, and TVs. LG Electronics has also joined this program.

LG Electronics offers about 700 high-efficiency appliance models eligible for support. Customers who purchase these models can enter the 'Nationwide High-Efficiency Appliance Sweepstakes' through the LG Electronics membership application. Among the participants, 1,000 winners will be selected by lottery to receive prizes such as the LG PuriCare 360˚ Air Purifier Alpha, the water mop robot vacuum LG CordZero M9 ThinQ, and the LG Dios Wine Cellar Mini.

Separately from the Korea Electric Power Corporation support program, LG Electronics will provide an additional discount of up to 200,000 KRW per product to all customers purchasing 20 popular high-efficiency appliance models until May 31. Discounted products include the space interior appliance LG Objet Collection, five types of kimchi refrigerators, the Objet Collection top refrigerator and bottom freezer refrigerator, the one-body washer-dryer WashTower, Tromm washing machines, dryers, top-loading washing machines, and 75-inch Ultra HD TVs.

Additionally, customers who purchase four or more different items from the LG Objet Collection will receive cashback or mobile gift certificates worth up to 2,500,000 KRW, depending on the number of products purchased.

Until April 30, customers who purchase the one-body washer-dryer WashTower, premium cordless vacuum All-in-One Tower, and Whisen Tower air conditioner simultaneously from the LG Objet Collection will receive an additional benefit of 300,000 KRW. Customers who purchase the top refrigerator and bottom freezer refrigerator, kimchi refrigerator, and dishwasher simultaneously from the LG Objet Collection will also receive an additional benefit of 300,000 KRW.
