The Ulsan Police Agency dispatched investigators to four locations, including the Urban Planning Division of Ulsan City Hall, starting from 10 a.m. to execute search warrants. This search and seizure is reportedly related to speculation allegations involving former Ulsan Deputy Mayor Song Byeong-gi.

A police official stated, "We plan to conduct a strict investigation if any illegal activities are confirmed after analyzing the secured materials," adding, "It is difficult to provide detailed information as the investigation is ongoing."

Meanwhile, the day before, four conservative civic groups filed a complaint with the prosecution against former Deputy Mayor Song on charges including abuse of authority. Former Deputy Mayor Song responded, "There are many factual errors in the raised allegations," and said, "I will take legal action."
