From the 26th to the 9th of next month, targeting entertainment bars and danran bars
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 21st that from the 26th of this month to the 9th of next month, it will conduct a comprehensive inspection of compliance with quarantine rules targeting entertainment bars and karaoke bars, and will apply a one-strike-out policy to establishments violating visitor log management.
Although the risk of additional COVID-19 cluster infections related to entertainment facilities in the province is increasing recently, many violations of visitor log management have been detected, such as users not filling out the logs during epidemiological investigations due to concerns about identity exposure.
Accordingly, the province plans to immediately impose fines (1.5 million KRW) and administrative measures to prohibit gatherings for two weeks on establishments violating visitor log management under the one-strike-out policy, and impose fines (100,000 KRW) on users.
The inspection targets are 5,289 entertainment facilities in the province, with a focus on areas with high floating populations such as downtown districts and university areas by local governments, as well as establishments vulnerable to infection.
The main inspection items include compliance with facility-specific quarantine rules such as visitor log creation and management, posting the number of people allowed at the same time, mask-wearing by managers and workers, management of ventilation and disinfection logs, and designation of quarantine managers.
