[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Moon In) announced on the 21st that it will hold a business briefing session on the 22nd for member companies of the 3rd phase ‘Buk-gu 4th Industrial Convergence Mini Cluster’ (hereinafter Mini Cluster).
The Mini Cluster, composed of 46 member companies in new industries such as AI (Artificial Intelligence), AR/VR (Augmented/Virtual Reality), and drones, is making efforts in various research and prototype development for the advancement of the 4th industry in Buk-gu.
At the briefing session, experts will be invited to conduct a ‘Procurement Registration and ISO Certification Consulting Seminar’ to find ways for these results not to remain only in development but to be promoted and sold through various channels.
In addition, research and development public projects and corporate support projects will be shared to strengthen the capabilities of member companies.
Last year, despite the COVID-19 situation, Buk-gu discovered five convergence project joint planning tasks such as smart exhibition and convention systems and showcased 11 achievements including hydrogen power packs for drones through business support.
Moon In, Mayor of Buk-gu, said, “As interest and expectations for the 4th Industrial Convergence Mini Cluster support project increase, the number of companies wishing to join as members is also rising. We will continue to activate the Mini Cluster network for the development of the local 4th industry and prepare support measures that are practically helpful to companies.”
