New confirmed cases by region are 5 in Gumi City, 3 in Gyeongsan City, 2 in Sangju City, and 1 each in Pohang City, Gyeongju City, Gimcheon City, Andong City, Yeongyang County, and Seongju County.

Among the 5 new confirmed cases in Gumi City, 1 is related to the LG Display production plant. At this plant, confirmed cases surged with 1 on the 18th and 10 (including 2 family members) on the 19th. Two others are contacts of the earlier confirmed case Gumi 435, and the infection routes of the remaining 2 are unknown.

In Gyeongsan City, among the 3 new confirmed cases, 2 are contacts of earlier confirmed cases Gyeongsan 411 and Gyeongsan 1169. The infection route of the other case is unknown.

Among the 2 new confirmed cases in Sangju City, 1 was confirmed positive while in self-quarantine as a contact of Sangju 118, confirmed on the 14th, and the other’s infection route is unidentified.

In Pohang City and Gyeongju City, contacts of Pohang 546 confirmed on the 9th and a Gyeongju citizen who met a confirmed case from Ulsan were confirmed positive, respectively. The infection routes of confirmed cases in Gimcheon City, Andong City, and Yeongyang County are unknown. The confirmed case in Seongju County is an imported case from overseas.

In Gyeongsangbuk-do, 148 people (excluding imported cases) tested positive across various areas over the past week, resulting in a weekly daily average of 21.1 confirmed cases. Currently, 2,062 people are in self-quarantine.
