[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) announced on the 21st that it donated 100 million won to Busan Metropolitan City to help children and adolescents from migrant families.


This project was prepared by KAMCO to assist children and adolescents belonging to new settlers, foreign workers, and multicultural families residing in Busan. The support program consists of basic learning ability enhancement and counseling to improve family relationships.


Support applications are accepted through Busan City and the Multicultural Family Support Center until the end of April. A total of 100 people will be selected considering their learning plans and economic situations comprehensively. There are 20 for learning mentoring and 80 for parent-child relationship improvement programs.


Moon Sung-yoo, President of KAMCO, said, "We hope this will help children and adolescents from migrant families grow into responsible future leaders with emotional stability," and emphasized, "We will continue to practice social value through the spread of a sharing culture."
