According to Jangseong County on the 20th, Gwangju case number 2306 visited the Jangseong County Office on the 17th, which was confirmed by Gwangju Metropolitan City on the same day.
The county immediately disinfected the government building upon notification and closed it until 9 a.m. on the 21st.
As it was confirmed that three county office employees had close contact, the county promptly conducted COVID-19 tests, with results expected after 11 p.m. on the same day.
Additionally, it was identified that the confirmed case and the county office employees visited Chukryeongsan Sarang Gadeuk Gukbap in Jangseong-eup, prompting the county to quickly send an emergency disaster text message to all residents.
Meanwhile, Gwangju case number 2306 was classified as a contact of Jeonnam case number 1008 and tested positive on the same day. Jeonnam case number 1008 was confirmed positive the previous day, with the infection route yet to be identified.
