[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-gyeong] Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 12th that it will operate a Monday night civil service office every Monday from 6 PM to 8 PM.

The Monday night civil service office is a customized service that allows residents, such as office workers and dual-income couples who find it difficult to visit the education office on weekdays, to use the civil service office during evening hours to alleviate their inconvenience.

The Office of Education plans to install unmanned civil service issuance machines to provide general administrative civil document issuance services as well.

The night civil service office immediately issues computerized documents such as graduation certificates, career certificates, and qualification exam pass certificates. For handwritten documents not registered in the NEIS system and various certificates requiring submission and issuance from other institutions, advance reservations are accepted until 5 PM for processing.

In addition, for the convenience of civil petitioners, an unmanned civil service issuance machine was recently installed inside the civil service office with the cooperation of Muan County Office.

The unmanned civil service issuance machine provides issuance services for a total of 62 types of various certificates, including ▲resident registration (basic and detailed) ▲cadastral ▲land ▲building ▲family relations ▲military service ▲real estate ▲national tax ▲passport ▲health insurance, among others.

Kim Do-jin, General Affairs Manager, stated, “The operation of the night civil service office will be regularly operated if demand increases after a detailed analysis of the civil document issuance trends. We will also continue to expand non-face-to-face civil services, such as installing unmanned civil service issuance machines, in accordance with the COVID-19 situation.”
