[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Yuseonghun, the mayor of Geumcheon-gu, received the AstraZeneca (AZ) COVID-19 vaccine at the Geumcheon-gu Public Health Center on the 20th.

After completing the vaccination, Mayor Yuseonghun visited the Geumcheon-gu Vaccination Center to check the vaccination status of the residents.

Mayor Yuseonghun stated, “We will do our best in vaccine vaccination measures and center operations to ensure that Geumcheon residents can receive the vaccine safely and conveniently,” and added, “For the recovery of daily life and safety, we hope all residents actively participate according to the vaccination schedule for each target group.”

Meanwhile, since the 15th, the district has established the Geumcheon-gu Vaccination Center at the Geumnarae Culture and Sports Center behind the Geumcheon-gu Office, conducting COVID-19 vaccinations targeting local seniors aged 75 and older.

To ensure safe vaccination for residents, the district has deployed a total of 75 staff members at the vaccination center, including 4 doctors, 11 nurses, 2 emergency medical technicians, and 58 administrative personnel, and operates shuttle vehicles for seniors with mobility difficulties.
