Mayor Yu Deok-yeol was given priority vaccination as the 'Head of the Dongdaemun-gu Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters' in accordance with the guidelines of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, and completed the vaccination without any adverse reactions.

Mayor Yu Deok-yeol stated, "We will do our best to ensure that all residents can receive the vaccine safely and promptly," and added, "We ask for active participation in vaccination so that we can form herd immunity and regain a safe daily life."
