NongHyup Bank Treasury Operations Division Visits Rice Farmers to Assist with Rural Labor Shortage

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] NH Nonghyup Bank announced on the 20th that Yoo Jae-do, Vice President of the Fund Management Division, and employees visited a farm located in Yupori, Sinbuk-eup, Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do on the 19th to assist with labor shortages in rural areas suffering from a lack of workers during the farming season due to prolonged COVID-19 restrictions on foreign workers' entry.

The labor assistance on that day was carried out together with employees of Sinbuk Nonghyup within Chuncheon City, where they worked hard on tasks such as carrying seedling trays and preparing rice seedbeds.

Yoo Jae-do, Vice President of Nonghyup Bank, greeted the elders of Yupori village individually and said, "I hope that small acts of kindness will accumulate into great help, and we will continue to strive to be a reliable support for farmers through Nonghyup Bank."
