One New COVID-19 Case Reported in Mokpo, the 60th Confirmed Patient

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Seunghyun] Mokpo City, Jeonnam, announced on the 20th that one additional COVID-19 case, the 60th confirmed patient, has been reported.

According to the city, the confirmed patient is a woman in her 50s who showed symptoms around 2 PM on the 19th and visited the Mokpo City Public Health Center's screening clinic for testing, receiving a final positive diagnosis that day.

In particular, the city health center has been tracking the confirmed patient's movements from the 15th to the 19th and is conducting tests on close contacts, including the patient's husband and coworkers.

A city official urged, "As continuous confirmed cases occur in the region and the possibility of further infections increases, we ask citizens to refrain from outdoor activities, strictly follow quarantine guidelines, and immediately visit the health center's screening clinic if any abnormal symptoms appear."
