[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] The Gyeongnam Comprehensive Social Welfare Center announced on the 20th that it delivered about 9,400 disposable lunchbox containers to the 39th Infantry Division of the Army on the 19th.
This delivery ceremony was carried out with a designated donation of 2.4 million KRW from the Park Yoon-gyu Honor Society to the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea.
It was planned to support individual meals for military personnel who require self-quarantine due to visits to multi-use facilities and COVID-19 high-risk areas.
Jung Min-hwa, director of the Gyeongnam Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, said, "Through the support of lunchbox containers, we hope that not only COVID-19 infection prevention is achieved, but also that self-quarantined military personnel can have quality meals and live a safe and healthy military life."
