Latest Information on 105 Welfare Projects Across 9 Key Areas... QR Codes Created for Residents to Access via Smartphones
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) has published the '2021 Eunpyeong Welfare Guide' booklet, which contains customized welfare services that are easy for residents to understand and comprehend.
The booklet includes the latest information on a total of 105 welfare projects across nine major areas: low-income groups, women, families, the elderly, people with disabilities, housing, jobs, health care, and various vouchers.
Additionally, to assist not only residents but also frontline workers, each project is detailed with the responsible department, eligible recipients, selection criteria, and application methods.
In particular, amid the spread of the untact (non-face-to-face) culture due to COVID-19, the guide was designed so that any resident can easily access welfare information on their mobile phones by scanning a QR code, which provides detailed information on services by category.
The district distributes this guidebook to welfare-related departments, community service centers, and welfare facilities, and anyone can view it on the Eunpyeong-gu website under Sector Information - Welfare Portal - Other Welfare - Other Welfare Information.
