CU will launch Heyroo Ramyeon Deuktem and Heyroo Sparkling on the 22nd, offering the industry's lowest prices to enhance price competitiveness.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] CU announced on the 20th that it will launch Heyru Ramyeon Deuktem and Heyru Sparkling on the 22nd, offering price competitiveness with the industry's lowest prices.
Heyru Ramyeon Deuktem is sold in bundles of five packs for 1,900 won, which is about one-quarter of the average price per pack of existing convenience store ramyeon. To ensure taste and quality, production was entrusted to Samyang, the first company to make ramyeon in Korea, and a BGF Retail product planner directly participated in recipe development, making several revisions before creating a popular beef broth ramyeon flavor.
Heyru Sparkling comes in two flavors: Plain, which can be mixed with various beverages, and Green Grape, targeting the summer season. Both products are zero-calorie and sugar-free, allowing customers who are reducing carbonated drink intake for weight control to enjoy them without worry. The price per 100ml is also about half that of general manufacturers' products. It is the lowest price not only among general manufacturers' products but also among industry private brand sparkling waters.
A BGF Retail official said, “We will continue to introduce competitive products so that customers can enjoy convenient, affordable, and beneficial shopping experiences at nearby CU stores, catching all three advantages at once.”
