Seoul Drug Supplier Arrested at Gangnam Hotel... Possession of Methamphetamine Equivalent to 2,300 Doses

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Junhyung] A manager-level supplier of a drug organization active in the Seoul area was arrested by the police.

The Seocho Police Station in Seoul announced on the 19th that Im, who sold and distributed drugs such as methamphetamine in Seoul, was sent to prosecution under charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.

Im was arrested last month at a hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. At the time, he was reported to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and a new type of drug known as GHB or "mulppong," in quantities sufficient for about 2,300 doses.

The police are identifying distributors and buyers who received drugs from Im through their investigation.
