[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] Seoul City announced on the 19th that it will implement personnel transfers for three level 2 executives effective on the 29th.

Baek Ho, head of the Waterworks Business Headquarters, was appointed as Director of the Urban Transportation Office. Seoul City explained that Director Baek, a transportation expert who served as Transportation Policy Officer and Transportation Operations Officer from 2011 to 2014, is the right person to smoothly handle issues directly related to citizens' lives, such as alleviating inconveniences in transportation-disadvantaged areas.

The head of the Waterworks Business Headquarters will be Kim Tae-gyun, Administrative Director.

Kim Sang-han, Head of the Regional Development Headquarters, who has diverse administrative experience including Budget Officer, Management Planning Officer, and Deputy Mayor of Jungnang-gu, was selected as Administrative Director responsible for administrative cooperation between Seoul City and autonomous districts and for Seoul City personnel affairs.

Seoul City stated, "This personnel appointment is meaningful in that it places executives with expertise to maximize the achievements of the 38th major core policies and accelerate administrative innovation."
