As high-dose active vitamins are known to be effective in relieving physical fatigue, the related market has recently grown rapidly, and various products have been launched. Chong Kun Dang's 'Benfobel' is a high-dose functional active vitamin that contains nine types of vitamin B complex including the active vitamin benfotiamine, as well as ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA), coenzyme Q10, vitamins C, D, E, zinc, and other nutrients necessary for the body.
The main ingredient, benfotiamine, is an active form of vitamin B1 effective in improving physical fatigue, eye fatigue, neuralgia, and muscle pain. It has higher bioavailability than regular vitamin B1 preparations, with fast-acting and long-lasting effects upon ingestion. In addition to benfotiamine, Benfobel contains 100 mg each of vitamins B2, B6, and B12, which are effective for fatigue recovery, stomatitis, and dermatitis.
It also includes 30 mg of UDCA, which is effective in improving liver function, coenzyme Q10 that helps antioxidant function and aging prevention, inositol that aids in reducing blood cholesterol, zinc essential for immune function, and vitamins C, D, and E, all of which are components necessary for modern health management.
With once-daily intake, it allows for balanced consumption of the recommended daily amount. The tablet size has been reduced to improve ease of swallowing for consumers who experience discomfort.
