[Asia Economy Reporter So-yeon Park] The Private School Teachers' Pension Service announced on the 19th that Ju Myung-hyun, chairman of the Private School Pension, has joined the 'GoGo Challenge' relay campaign to reduce plastic in daily life.
The 'GoGo Challenge' is a campaign initiated by the Ministry of Environment earlier this year to practice plastic reduction in daily life. It involves pledging one thing not to do and one thing to do to reduce the use of disposable products and plastics in everyday life. The campaign proceeds as a relay by nominating the next participant through sharing on social networking services (SNS).
Chairman Ju Myung-hyun took on the challenge upon the nomination of Chosun University President Min Young-don, participating in this campaign under the slogan "Reduce disposable product usage! Separate and dispose of recyclables by type!"
Ju Myung-hyun, chairman of the Private School Pension, said, "To respond to the government's Green New Deal policy, we rolled out a mid- to long-term management strategy last year, strengthening strategic tasks under 'Enhancing Safety and Eco-friendly Responsible Management,' and are gradually expanding the proportion of ESG-related investment fund products." He added, "We will continue to take the lead in establishing an eco-friendly culture by actively promoting various campaigns, activities, and related investments."
