Event Agency, Outdoor Futsal Field, Private Museums and Art Galleries, Experience Room-Type Medical Device Retailers, Benefits for Corporate Taxi and Chartered Bus Drivers
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 19th that it will identify blind spots in the government's 4th disaster relief fund and promote customized support totaling 3.3 billion KRW.
By sector, it plans to provide cash support of 854 million KRW in three fields: culture, arts, and sports; 222 million KRW in one medical field; and 2.216 billion KRW in two transportation sectors.
First, 8 million KRW will be provided as operational support funds of 1 million KRW each to about 800 event agencies in the province whose sales sharply declined due to cancellations of events, performances, and festivals.
Also, 1 million KRW will be provided to 33 outdoor futsal facilities that suffered severe business difficulties due to the ban on private gatherings of five or more people.
In addition, 21 private museums and art galleries in the province, which were not included in the government's 4th Bridge Plus Fund support targets, will receive 1 million KRW each as operational stabilization funds.
1 million KRW will be provided to 222 medical device sales shops in the form of experience rooms in the province.
For corporate taxi and charter bus drivers, the government’s 4th support fund of 700,000 KRW will be supplemented by 300,000 KRW shared by the province and city/county governments. A total of 4,826 corporate taxi drivers and 2,559 charter bus drivers in the province will benefit.
The province plans to accept applications and execute direct support for blind spots in April.
Even if some city/county governments have already provided support funds to transportation workers, the provincial government plans to support all city/county governments considering fairness. Whether duplicate support occurs will be judged independently by each city/county government.
