[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Chicken franchise Kyochon F&B announced on the 19th that it has published a brand book chronicling the 30-year history of Kyochon Chicken to commemorate its 30th anniversary.
The newly published brand book provides an overview of the 30-year history of Kyochon Chicken, which has established itself as the number one chicken franchise in Korea. It covers the journey and milestones from its beginnings in 1991 as a small 10-pyeong (approximately 33 square meters) whole chicken shop in Gumi, Gyeongbuk, to becoming the current Kyochon Chicken, as well as future plans.
In particular, this brand book artistically expresses Kyochon Chicken’s history, philosophy, and vision by incorporating design elements rather than simply narrating the timeline in a chronological format.
The brand book is composed of four chapters: Kyochon’s Spirit, Kyochon’s History, Kyochon’s Taste, and Kyochon’s Tomorrow. ‘Kyochon’s Spirit’ includes the core philosophy and values of Kyochon, as well as interviews with the founder and CEO. The second chapter, ‘Kyochon’s History,’ contains major yearly milestones and innovative, fresh stories prepared to grow into a differentiated chicken brand.
Next, ‘Kyochon’s Taste’ covers Kyochon Chicken’s unique menu and signature sauces that cannot be found in other chicken brands, along with information about Kyochon Chicken’s R&D center and subsidiaries. Lastly, ‘Kyochon’s Tomorrow’ includes future plans and new business ventures. This brand book was distributed to Kyochon F&B employees and franchise owners nationwide.
