[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Jo] KT announced on the 19th that it has supplied the entry record creation service ‘Call Check-in,’ which allows entry registration in just 3 seconds with a single phone call, to all KB Kookmin Bank branches nationwide.
This service was introduced to enable customers visiting banks to conduct their business more quickly and conveniently amid strengthened entry record requirements for multi-use facilities due to COVID-19.
From now on, visitors to KB Kookmin Bank can easily register their entry records in just 3 seconds by calling the toll-free 080 number assigned to each branch. Once they hear the message “Visitor registration is complete” after calling the number, the registration process is fully completed. This eliminates the cumbersome process of generating QR codes and the use of handwritten logs that pose risks of personal information exposure, greatly enhancing security and convenience. Entry records registered in the system are automatically deleted after 4 weeks.
KT plans to expand the distribution of the Call Check-in service, which can contribute to preventing the spread of COVID-19, to various industries nationwide. Junho Kim, Head of KT Public Finance Customer Division, said, “With the supply of KT Call Check-in service to KB Kookmin Bank, the first in the financial sector, the two companies will continue to cooperate to strengthen social responsibility and pursue sustainable ESG management.”
