[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suhwan] On the 18th, at around 2:02 PM, a fire broke out on the slope beside the road near Magok Tunnel in Magok-ri, Seomyeon, Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon, on the Seoul-Yangyang Expressway heading towards Yangyang, and was extinguished after 40 minutes.
The fire caused the road to be engulfed in smoke, making it difficult for vehicles to pass.
It is reported that no traffic accidents occurred. Currently, the fire authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
