Not only from the contact point at Democratic Party lawmaker Lee Gaeho's Damyang office, but also infections from other regions and secondary infections from cases with unknown transmission routes have occurred, putting health authorities on alert.

According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 18th, six people were confirmed positive last night and registered as cases 2,279 to 2,284.

Cases 2,280, 2,281, and 2,283 are related to Jeonnam case 988, an employee at lawmaker Lee Gaeho's Damyang office.

So far, 15 cases have been reported in Gwangju related to the Damyang office.

Cases 2,279 and 2,284 are contacts of the previously confirmed case 2,273. The transmission route of case 2,273 has not yet been identified.

Case 2,282 was confirmed as a contact of Gyeongnam case 3,207.
