[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Kolon Industries FnC division announced on the 18th that its outdoor brand 'Kolon Sports' will launch the 'Night Hiker' series optimized for nighttime activities.
The Night Hiker series consists of 15 styles, including the representative Night Hiker jacket, a phosphorescent jacket (a jacket made of material that absorbs light during the day and emits light at night), and functional T-shirts. The Night Hiker was released last year as a jacket product and received much love from customers, and this season, an upgraded Night Hiker series will be introduced.
The biggest feature of the Night Hiker series is the retroreflective material. When exposed to light, the material itself reflects light, making it appear to sparkle. This feature is useful for outdoor activities at night and has high utility in terms of safety.
Kolon Sports brand manager Seongcheol Park said, "Night Hiker is Kolon Sports' signature item that utilizes retroreflective material on the front. This season, it is presented as a series designed not only for nighttime activities but also to safely enjoy various activities in the city."
Meanwhile, to commemorate the launch of Night Hiker, Kolon Sports is holding a pop-up store on the 7th floor of Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam branch until May 6th, selling best sellers including Night Hiker. The first 80 customers who purchase on-site will receive a Kolon Sports name tag, and 50 customers who purchase the tech sneakers 'Move' will receive a gift bag.
