[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] The Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled announced on the 18th that it has received an A grade for two consecutive years in the '2020 Public Institution Safety Activity Level Evaluation' conducted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
In this evaluation, the agency received high scores for ▲obtaining the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (KOSHA-MS) certification ▲deployment of safety professionals ▲proactive risk assessments ▲development and distribution of safety content for customers. Introduced for the first time in 2019, this evaluation assesses 29 items across four areas including safety and health management systems, and rates institutions on six grades from S to E.
Cho Hyanghyun, the agency's director, said, "We are pleased to have established ourselves as an excellent institution in safety and health management by receiving an A grade for two consecutive years," adding, "We will continue to prioritize creating a safe environment for the public and our employees as the agency's top value."
