CJ Logistics' 'e-Fulfillment' Service for Orders Until Midnight Shows Growth Trend A CJ Logistics employee is preparing shipments for the e-fulfillment service products.


[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] CJ Logistics announced on the 18th that the number of client companies using its 'e-Fulfillment' service has increased to 12 just over a year after its launch.


Launched in April last year, CJ Logistics' 'e-Fulfillment' is a specialized logistics service for e-commerce. It is a hybrid service combining a hub terminal and an e-fulfillment center. When consumers place orders on online shopping malls, products are immediately moved from CJ Logistics' Gonjiam Fulfillment Center to the hub terminal, pass through the latest automated cargo sorters, and are shipped nationwide.


Unlike the previous service where orders had to be placed around 3 PM to receive products the next day, using e-Fulfillment allows customers to order as late as midnight and still receive their items the following day.


As of this month, one year after the service launch, CJ Logistics provides services to 12 brands including LG Household & Health Care, Aekyung, and Lion Korea. Additionally, 20 more brands have confirmed their entry and are currently negotiating schedules.


Initially focused on household goods, the service has recently expanded its scope to include food, health supplements, clothing, and pet products with clients such as Nestl? Korea and Daesang Life Science. Besides Naver Smart Store vendors, specialized mall operators like Pet Friends and Zigzag have also joined as clients.


The service's strength lies in CJ Logistics' stable delivery through the country's largest nationwide infrastructure.


According to a survey conducted by CJ Logistics among client companies, 77% reported sales increases of over 25% since the service launch, with some companies experiencing growth exceeding 100%. Factors contributing to increased sales included high consumer satisfaction with next-day delivery rates and maximized order collection due to the 24-hour cutoff. Additionally, 78% of clients reported a decrease in consumer complaints.


CJ Logistics has developed and launched an integrated management system called eFLEXs for its e-commerce clients. eFLEXs is a system that manages the entire e-commerce logistics process from order aggregation to last-mile delivery within a single platform, designed specifically for CJ Logistics' e-Fulfillment service customers.


CJ Logistics stated, "We will actively strive to maximize consumer satisfaction through differentiated services and support the growth of our clients' e-commerce businesses."
