[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Cryptocurrency Bitcoin is trading in the 79 million KRW range on the morning of the 17th.
According to the domestic cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb, as of 8:30 AM on the day, 1 Bitcoin was recorded at 79.27 million KRW.
At the same time, on another exchange Upbit, 1 Bitcoin is priced at 79.43 million KRW.
Unlike stocks, cryptocurrency prices are set per exchange unit, so even the same type of cryptocurrency may have slight price differences depending on the exchange.
Following Bitcoin, Ethereum, the second largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, recorded a new high in the 3.2 million KRW range on both Bithumb and Upbit the previous morning, and is currently trading at 3.125 million KRW and 3.136 million KRW respectively.
