[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The six universities in the Busan area participating in the industry-academia cooperation advanced LINC+ project will further strengthen the interactive collaborative networking of their programs.
The LINC+ project groups of six universities?Dong-Eui University, Dongmyung University, Dongseo University, Dong-A University, Pukyong National University, and Korea Maritime and Ocean University?held a signing ceremony at 3:30 PM on the 16th in the conference room on the 2nd floor of the main building of Dong-Eui University to jointly operate cooperation programs under the 2021 LINC+ project.
Since 2020, the six Busan-area universities’ LINC+ project groups have signed a business agreement to jointly respond to COVID-19 and build a win-win platform, operating joint programs based on cooperation rather than competition.
Last year, they operated 4th Industrial Revolution-based employment and startup programs such as real-time online entrepreneurship education, online short-term industrial lectures, ontact-based AI and non-face-to-face interview consulting, and the joint Capstone Design Project B.SORI.
This year, the six universities’ LINC+ project groups will also address key themes of the 4th Industrial Revolution. They plan to advance collaborative programs by jointly developing programs closely related to government new industry sectors and expand a sustainable future-oriented talent cultivation collaboration system.
For the 2021 academic year, programs will include ▲joint development of 4th Industrial Revolution programs ▲joint operation of programs to strengthen employment capabilities education and infrastructure ▲joint operation of programs to advance the shared university platform ▲development of MOOCs for incumbent worker education ▲advancement of Capstone Design topics and operation of competitions.
They plan to foster outstanding talent by strengthening the linkage with the Busan-type shared university platform, which has been fully operational since this year. Additionally, they aim to accelerate regional economic revitalization by establishing industry-academia brand value and ecosystem.
