The total number of recruits is 276, and as of the announcement date (April 19), applicants must be 18 years or older and belong to employment-vulnerable groups who have been affected by COVID-19, including ▲those who lost their jobs ▲self-employed individuals who have closed or suspended their businesses ▲those on unpaid leave for more than one month (since February 23, 2020) ▲special employment and freelance workers with decreased income, prioritizing those in need of livelihood support.

The application period is from April 19 to 28. Applicants should bring their ID, proof of employment vulnerability, certificates, and other required documents to their local community service center.

This project will be implemented for four months from May to August. Participants will perform tasks such as ▲supporting daily quarantine measures ▲public facility maintenance ▲public service support at public institutions and major facilities within the district.

The district will review applicants’ financial status, age, and participation in public job projects, and select the final participants by the 30th. Those finally selected for the Hope Work Job Project will work five days a week, with daily working hours ranging from 3 to 6 hours depending on the characteristics of each workplace.

Wages are based on the 2021 minimum hourly wage of 8,720 KRW, with a maximum monthly wage of up to 1.34 million KRW depending on working hours. Statutory benefits such as the four major insurances, weekly holiday pay, and monthly leave allowances will also be applied.
