Report Meeting on Detailed Implementation Plan for 'Darag (多樂)gil 324 Project' Held
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] On the 16th, Changwon City in Gyeongnam held a briefing session on the promotion plan for the 'Darag (多樂) Road 324 Project,' which connects the 324 km coastline of Changwon and introduces specialized waterfront facilities.
The Darag (多樂) Road 324 Project is a marine tourism infrastructure development along the city's 324 km coastline and a waterfront creation project unique to Changwon Bay.
Last May, the city prepared a basic concept plan, identified targets for project promotion by sector, and established detailed promotion plans to carry out the project, holding a briefing session.
Seven sectors and 14 departments will promote 56 detailed projects. The total project cost, including private investment, is planned to be 1.6 trillion KRW.
By sector, it is subdivided into key area development fields such as new road construction including the opening of disconnected coastal roads around Jindong and Gusan-myeon, road maintenance including design improvements of existing coastal road retaining walls in Changwon City, specialized projects such as Haengam waterfront space specialization, and trail opening projects such as coastal trail creation.
Mayor Heo Seong-mu said, "Through the 'Darag (多樂) Road 324 Creation Project,' we will lead the leap forward of the marine hub city Changwon and transform the stagnant economy and social atmosphere."
