[Asia Economy Reporter Onyu Lim] The consortium of Doosan Construction and Kolon Global announced on the 16th that they will be selling 629 officetel units in the residential complex "Gimhae Yulha The Sky City Zenith & Frau," located in Gimhae, Gyeongnam.
This complex will consist of a total of 4,393 units, including 3,764 apartment units across 15 buildings ranging from 4 basement floors to a maximum of 49 floors above ground, and 629 officetel units. It will be developed in the area of 699-1 Sinmundong, Gimhae. The officetel units will be supplied in the following exclusive area sizes: ▷ 222 units of 23 and 24㎡ ▷ 259 units of 43㎡ ▷ 148 units of 59㎡.
For the apartments, the first priority subscription on the 6th attracted 15,590 applicants for 709 units, closing with an average competition rate of 22.0 to 1.
A sales official stated, "There were no small-sized apartment units under 60㎡ in the apartment supply. There is a lot of interest in the 43㎡ and 59㎡ officetel units, which have floor plans similar to small apartments."
The 43㎡C type features a 2-bay layout including a living room, bedroom, and bathroom. The bedroom includes a dressing room, and the living room is designed to be spacious. The 59㎡A type is designed as a slab-type 3-bay, 2-room layout. It has a high ceiling height of 2.4 meters, enhancing openness and comfort. Next to the kitchen, there is a utility room where a washing machine or dryer can be installed.
The complex will include community facilities such as a fitness center, indoor golf practice range, small library, study room, and English village. Additionally, theme parks including a central plaza will be created to allow residents to enjoy rest and leisure.
Next to the complex is the Gimhae Tourism Distribution Complex, which houses Nonghyup Hanaro Mart, Lotte Outlet, Lotte Cinema, and Gimhae Lotte Water Park. The Chil-san-ro road to the north of the Gimhae Tourism Distribution Complex provides access to the old downtown of Gimhae, and the Garak IC and Jangyu IC provide entry to the Namhae 2nd Branch Expressway. The double-track railway from Bujeon to Masan is also scheduled to open next year.
Officetel subscriptions will be held over two days, from the 20th to the 21st. Applications are primarily accepted online via the Korea Real Estate Board's subscription homepage. Winners will be announced on the 26th, and contracts will be signed on the 27th and 28th. Contract holders will be offered a 60% interest-free benefit on the interim payment. The model house is located in Buwon-dong, Gimhae City (opposite Gimhae City Hall).
