Hanwha Forena Pohang Launches Sales... Free Balcony Expansion for All Units 'Hanwha Forena Pohang' bird's-eye view


Hanwha Construction will open the model house for 'Hanwha Forena Pohang,' supplied in the Iin District urban development area of Heunghae-eup, Pohang-si, Gyeongbuk, on the 16th and begin sales.


This complex will be built with 16 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to 30 above-ground floors, with a total of 2,192 households and exclusive areas ranging from 59 to 109㎡. The number of households by type is △59㎡ 180 units △75㎡ 478 units △84㎡A 827 units △84㎡B 413 units △109㎡ 294 units.


Subscription applications will be accepted starting with special supply on the 26th, followed by first priority on the 27th, and second priority on the 28th. The announcement of winners will be on May 4th, and the official contract period will be held for five days from May 17th to 21st.


To reduce the financial burden on contract holders, the down payment will be split into two installments with the first installment fixed at 10 million KRW, interest-free interim payment loans will be provided, and balcony expansions for all households will be offered free of charge.


Pohang Buk-gu, where the complex is located, is a non-regulated real estate area, allowing resale of pre-sale rights after down payment, and various regulations such as subscription qualifications and loan restrictions are relatively relaxed.


The complex is arranged mainly with south-facing and slab-type units to maximize natural lighting and ventilation. In particular, a variety of types from small to large units are configured to broaden consumer choices, and the design mainly features 4 to 4.5 Bay slab-type layouts, ensuring excellent residential comfort.


The exterior of the complex applies the 'Forena Exterior Design,' which creates a sophisticated atmosphere. German luxury kitchen furniture brand Nobilia is provided free of charge in kitchens of all units, and in the couple’s bathroom (for 84㎡ type and above), world-renowned Italian MARAZZI large tiles and gold-plated fixtures are applied, specializing in Forena’s high-end bathroom design.


A daycare center and kindergarten are planned within the complex, and nearby sites are planned for an elementary school, middle school, and high school.


To the south of the 'Hanwha Forena Pohang' complex is a planned central commercial facility site for lifestyle convenience. The Pohang Agricultural Products Wholesale Market is adjacent, and Lotte Department Store, Lotte Cinema, S Pohang Hospital, and Gyeongsangbuk-do Pohang Medical Center are all within close proximity.

KTX and Donghae Line Pohang Station are located near the complex, allowing travel to Dongdaegu in about 30 minutes and Seoul in about 2 hours and 30 minutes via KTX. Yeongilman-daero, National Road 28, and National Road 7 are nearby, making travel within and outside the city convenient, and access to the Iksan-Pohang Expressway via Pohang IC is easy. Additionally, a new road construction project between Uhyun Intersection and Iin District is planned near the complex, which is expected to further improve city travel convenience.


The complex is located within the Iin District urban development project area, which is highly regarded for its excellent surrounding infrastructure. The Iin District (approximately 950,000㎡) is the largest single urban development project area in Pohang, planned as a residential area with about 5,300 households.


Next to the Iin District, land and urban development projects totaling about 4 million ㎡ are underway, including the Pohang Convergence Technology Industrial District Pentacity (about 1.48 million ㎡), Seonggok District (about 200,000 ㎡), and KTX New Town District (about 870,000 ㎡). Once the northern Pohang development projects are completed, a new residential belt will be formed connecting 'Iin District - Pentacity - Seonggok District - KTX New Town District - Chogok District,' creating infrastructure for about 18,000 new households.


The Hanwha Forena Pohang model house is located in the Jungheung-ro area of Buk-gu, Pohang-si, next to Hangdo Middle School. Move-in is scheduled for March 2024.
