Shinsegae Food Donates Snacks and Tumblers to Childcare Facilities On the 15th, at the Shinsegae Food headquarters in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, Jeong Hyunjin, head of the CSR team at Shinsegae Food (left), handed over 1,000 Olban Old-fashioned Fried Chickens and 150 tumbler sets in pouches made by employees to Cha Dongbeom, team leader of the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Shinsegae Food announced on the 16th that it donated 1,000 'Olban Old-fashioned Whole Chickens' and 150 tumbler sets to vulnerable children struggling due to COVID-19.

Shinsegae Food considered ways to provide practical help for the shortage of snacks and school supplies for children caused by the decrease in donated goods to childcare facilities amid the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. Accordingly, on the 25th of last month, during a live broadcast with celebrity Tak Jae-hoon, Shinsegae Food promised to donate 1,000 'Olban Old-fashioned Whole Chickens' to childcare facilities if the sales target of 500 packs was achieved. Thanks to the support of consumers actively participating in ethical consumption on the day of the broadcast, Shinsegae Food met the sales target and donated 1,000 'Olban Old-fashioned Whole Chickens' for children at childcare facilities through the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation at its headquarters in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul on the 15th.

Along with this, Shinsegae Food also delivered 150 personal tumbler sets, essential supplies for elementary school students. In particular, the meaning of sharing was enhanced by delivering the tumblers in pouches handmade by Shinsegae Food employees through remote volunteering.
