Due to the prolonged ‘stay-at-home’ trend, interest in food that can be enjoyed at home is increasing. ‘Yorini’ is also a cooking kit that can be easily made at home. These home meal replacement products have been steadily loved by consumers and are showing rapid growth.
The newly launched ▲‘Our Family’s Meticulous Cooking Fish Cake’ by Samjin Eomuk is a product composed of fish cakes and sauces optimized for cooking.
Among fish cake dishes, the three most representative dishes?stir-fried fish cake, fish cake soup (skewers), and tteokbokki?are made more delicious with fish cakes of customized thickness, sauces, and flakes.
▲‘Our Family’s Meticulous Cream Cheese Ball’ and ▲‘Our Family’s Meticulous Potato Ball’ are snack products that can be consumed conveniently and simply without additional cooking.
They are finger food products manufactured in sizes that can be picked up with one hand and eaten one piece at a time.
The new products ‘Our Family’s Meticulous Cooking Fish Cake’, ‘Our Family’s Meticulous Cream Cheese Ball’, and ‘Our Family’s Meticulous Potato Ball’ have 30% less sodium content compared to existing products.
Reflecting consumers’ preference for healthy and convenient food, the lineup has been strengthened with customized products according to usage.
The cooking fish cake applies fish cakes with optimized thickness and texture so that consumers can easily make more delicious dishes.
The ‘stir-fry’ fish cake is a ‘side dish’ that is stored and consumed over a long period, so it is made with a chewier texture and ‘thicker’ thickness.
The ‘skewer’ fish cake is made with a ‘thin’ thickness so that the seasoning of the soup is easily absorbed and a soft texture like broth can be felt.
The ‘tteokbokki’ fish cake is composed to harmonize with the tteokbokki sauce well absorbed, providing a ‘chewy’ texture and appropriate mouthfeel.
Samjin Eomuk participated in the 2019 sodium reduction project hosted by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and succeeded in developing sodium reduction technology for fish cakes.
They lowered sodium content using a sodium substitute (SFL CC Standard) and complemented flavor with bread yeast extract (MultiromeTM Powder). This technology became the foundation of the ‘Our Family’s Meticulous Fish Cake’ series.
