'Know-How is Competitiveness'... Gyeonggi-do to Host 'Middle-Aged and Senior Job Fair'

[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] Gyeonggi Province supports employment for middle-aged and older adults with expertise and the companies that hire them.

According to the province on the 16th, to revitalize the labor market for those aged 40 to under 65, the province and the Job Foundation will hold the '2021 1st Middle-aged and Older Job Fair (Online)' from May 31 to June 25.

Companies with unpaid wages, those that have fraudulently applied for or received government subsidies, or workplaces not enrolled in industrial accident insurance are not eligible to participate.

The first five outstanding companies will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis and given the opportunity to participate in the real-time job fair YouTube channel 'JobabaTV' to promote their companies and hiring conditions.

If a company hires a job seeker who participated in the fair, the company will receive a hiring incentive of 200,000 KRW per employed person (limited to 5 people per company).

Companies wishing to participate in the fair can apply via email through the Gyeonggi Job Foundation website from today until May 21.
