[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] The bulletin board operated by the Seoul Suicide Prevention Center for psychological support has been suspended due to protest posts from male netizens.

According to Seoul City on the 15th, the center temporarily suspended the writing function of the 'Sisters Keepers Practicing Life Love of Women in Their 20s' bulletin board, which had been in operation since September 24 of last year, starting from the day before.

The center stated, "There have been incidents of impersonation posting false official statements, so we intend to temporarily suspend the bulletin board until we can find a technical method to prevent impersonation."

Since the 'Sisters Keepers' bulletin board was first created on September 24 last year, only 56 posts were made until the end of last year, and there were no posts at all until the 12th of this month, but over 800 posts were uploaded in just two days, the 13th and 14th.

Male netizens are protesting, questioning why benefits are given only to women. Netizens criticized activities related to women, saying, "Are only women struggling?", "Why is the Seoul City budget used only to practice life love for women in their 20s?", and "More men commit suicide."

The Seoul Suicide Prevention Center currently has the writing function blocked and plans to announce official statements from the center or the psychological support team only through site notices for the time being.
