President Xi may also attend the climate summit hosted by U.S. President Joe Biden next week. President Biden invited leaders from 40 countries, including President Xi, but Xi's participation has not yet been confirmed.
Meanwhile, U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry is scheduled to visit Shanghai, China, from the 14th to the 17th, and it is expected that he will actively encourage President Xi to participate during this period.
